ACU British Extreme Enduro Championships 2018 Round 3 H2O North Wales

Billy Bolt wins Eddy's Xtreme at H2O
After a bleak winter the sun shone on the first day of Summer time for the 3rd round of the 2018 ACU British Xtreme Enduro Championship organised by Fast Eddy Racing, The 2 and a half hour main race started at 12.30pm and David Knight (GasGas) took an early lead for half a lap before the 2017 champion Billy Bolt hit the front ahead of Paul Bolton (Eurotek KTM) and Jonny Walker (KTM); The course featured the usual landmarks like the Rock Garden. and the Waterfall. The fallen trees seemed higher this year and woods began to resemble the Horse of the year show as riders launched themselves over increasingly higher barriers. Billy Bolt was the Harvey Smith of the day - taking the overall win; Jonny Walker was runner up and Paul Bolton was 3rd. Jonno Richardson was 4th and Joe Deakin in 5th was the Best Expert, MXcrossover Nathan Watson did well to finish 9th on unfamiliar ground. Charlie Frost (10th) was runner up in the Evperts. Juan Knight finished 11th and 3 for 3 in the Elite Vets Championship. With a 3rd, 2nd and 1st Billy Bolt now leads the Championship from Paul Bolton. In the 2 hour morning race Vet Mick Boam took the early lead ahead of youths Suff Sella and Will Stansbie, Suff moved up to the front and led going into the last lap but he lost time and Will snatched the win. Suff was runner up and Mick was 3rd. Mark Houson (4th) was Vet runner up and Richard Bentham (5th) was 3rd. Tsuk Sella (6th) was the best Sportsman. cover photo Garry Barnes Photography
