Brother Beyond - The harder I try (Ruud's Extended Edit)

After some minor hit success in (mainly) the UK, boyband 'Brother Beyond' was offered a collaboration with the songwriters and producers Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman, known as Stock Aitken Waterman (SAW). The first song to be released from this session was "The Harder I Try", which reached number 2 in the UK charts, but also made it into the charts of many other countries. "The Harder I Try" samples the drum intro of The Isley Brothers' "This Old Heart of Mine", and indeed the song as a whole has a distinct Motown feel.

I combined the single version and bits & pieces of the instrumental track (with thanks to Michael Sullivan) to make an extended edit.
