Huntington - The biggest cactus and succulent collection in the world

✔The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens are actually a 120-acre hike through memorable landscapes from around the world. With a traditional Japanese garden, a South African desert oasis, a Chinese pond, the Australian outback, a southern rose garden, and a water lily pond section, almost every part of the world is beautifully represented.
Our favorite part was the desert oasis area, mainly because we had never seen anything like it before. In addition to the earth-colored cactus, there were a surprising number of beautiful flowers, filled with bees of all sizes and in a rainbow of colors. Not even the rose garden could compete with the sensory overload of desert flowers.
Although we can now cross it off our Los Angeles bucket list, I know we will visit the gardens and galleries again. It is too beautiful for a single visit.
