From my daughter, Savika, to Miki:
Thank you Ando sensei... You came, spent time, and taught us how to jumps... as you were very very very good at it! The first lady did a quad in the international competition and you nailed it when you were still 13th (my age now), while I’m still learning to jump 1 Triple. Imagine how far behind is, right?
Anyway, you weren’t only teaching me how to jump but also getting to know you in person as a humble, hard worker, and resilient person. I remembered when you told me about those days after your Dad passed away that to ice skate was the way you commemorated him, when you had to skate together with public like us here in Indonesia, when you had to go at 1 am by train to reach the rink at 4 am while you still needed to go to regular school and did your school homework, when you had several injuries and backed on skate, when you overcame your fear and nervousness before big competitions, etc etc. It’s indeed inspired me and a role model for me. Hope I can be like you one day. Amiin.
