How to calculate and round a person's age in Excel
You can easily calculate a person's age if you have the current date and their date of birth. However if you calculate somebody's age at 42.65 years old and you reformat the cell to show a whole number, their age will round up incorrectly to 43.
In this video I will demonstrate how to calculate age correctly and then walk through 3 ways to round the age DOWNWARDS to the next whole number.
You can apply this method to any duration scenario, e.g. subscription period / how long an employee has worked for a company, how long someone has been a customer etc.
