Photo FlipBook | Echo Park | Our Wedding

A step-by-step guide to making a photo flipbook. I used Echo Park's Our Wedding (by Lori Whitlock) to make a wedding flipbook for my niece who is getting married in a month, so photos are pending.

I cut a piece of cardboard backing to a paper pad down to 8 1/2" x 11". Then I cut off .5" from one end for the spine and the remaining 10.5" was cut in half at 5 1/4" to make each end.

Then I cut the outside paper down to 9" x 12" (I say 11.5" in the video, but really it was 12"). Be sure to watch how I cut the paper on angles so it folds easier. Then the inside cover page was cut to 8 1/2" by 10 3/4", glued down in the middle, scored, and then each side glued down.

For the flip pages, I cut one 12" x 12" paper down to 4" x 4" squares and scored each of them at .25". This is the part that will be glued down.

For the strip that will hold the photos flat, I cut down a 2" x 12" strip, scored it at 1", and glued the 1" piece to the bottom of the left side of the book. Then once the pictures are in and I have put in all the 4" x 4" pieces, I can complete the holder with a magnet to stay closed.

I know that was a lot of measurements, sorry! Watching the video should make it easier, but please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for watching (apologies in advance for my voice. I prefer background music, but there was just too much to explain in text pop-ups.
