My heart goes out to my Turkish friends and all the people of Türkiye effected by this disaster.
I visit the Ancient Sanctuary of the mythological Goddess Leto, called "The Letoon". Letoon is not an actual city, but was a religious sanctuary, located 4km south of the ancient Lycian city of Xanthos. It was administered by Xanthos and was the spiritual heart of ancient Lycia. According to Mythology the Goddess Leto turned the local people into frogs when they refused her access to the Xanthos springs to wash her children, Artemis and Apollo.
