With Godzilla vs. Kong hitting theaters soon, we thought it would be a great time to take a look back at Godzilla’s radioactive history on the silver screen. From his birth in 1954’s original Godzilla to 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters and even beyond that toward the Godzilla franchise’s future! Where did he come from? How did he come to become the household name that he is? Is it Godzilla or Gojira? How on Earth would King Kong, a giant gorilla, defeat a 100 meter tall, atomic fire breathing giant crocodile?! Don’t worry because the answers to these important questions, erm most of them at least, are in this new Collider video!

So kick back, grab a snack, and relax in the nearest lead-lined refrigerator you can find (the video’s a little high on the geiger counter and I take my radiation safety tips from Indiana Jones movies) and come with us on a journey spanning half a century in The Evolution of Godzilla!
