Electrolysis Rust Removal

30 Gallons of water and about 3 cups of Arm and Hammer Super Wash. Connect the positive leads of a 12V battery charger to some sacrificial metal and then connect the negative lead to the piece you want to clean. This video shows the process with 4 amps.

There are plenty of rust removal techniques but I wanted to try this out. What I learned is that the electrolysis kinda works in a line-of-sight manner so it did great out on the outside of the intake manifold but not so good on the inside. This was for my 1970 Barracuda and on old 440. I ended up using a wire wheel on an angle grinder.
