Archery Deer Hunt in Iowa

Archery deer hunt during the rut in Iowa. Chris Anderson joins Steve Stoltz on his Iowa property with hopes of harvesting a mature whitetail buck. The largest buck on the property dubbed "No Ones" makes an appearance along with several other bucks. Crazy daylight ridgeline activity with bucks scent checking for does. Chris is unsuccessful in connecting with the big "No Ones" buck and passes on some other deer but the week was still an incredible experience sitting in the woods.

Anybody who spends times hunting will tell you that hunting isn't always about the kill as there are experiences, opportunities to learn and time invested that is all part of fair chase hunting. We embrace all aspects of the hunt and any week when you can sit in the woods with several cool deer encounters is a great week.
