This is a brief introduction to the Victorian era, which can be used as a starting point for AO4 context research in Unit 2: Dramatic Genres. This introduction was made with a particular focus on the upper class and dandyism, as a basis for research into the context of Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest'.
