Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM disassembly for replacing the flex cable in the focus motor

This video is about removing the USM motor of the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM, then disassembling it to access the flex cable. I had this lens which had problems with the autofocusing. The focusing did not work, and it was caused by a faulty flex cable in the USM motor. So I had to remove the USM motor from the lens and then disassembled it, replace the flex cable with a new one, then assemble the USM motor and the lens. In this video I'll show you how to disassemble them to get access to the flex cable.
