Mario Kart Racing Wheel Pro Deluxe (Nintendo Switch) Unboxing

Hori has released a Mario Kart Racing Wheel Pro Deluxe for Nintendo Switch and I decided to get it. A couple months ago, it was announced that Hori was releasing this deluxe wheel and a smaller mini sized wheel, however only the mini was confirmed for the US. So I decided to pre-order the deluxe one from Play-Asia. Turns out I didn't need to import it from Japan as it seems this is now out in the US. Oh well! The wheel looks nice with the red and black color scheme and it feels pretty solid. All of the buttons you'll need are available on the controller, as well as the option to reprogram the buttons as needed. While it's not great for it, it technically can be used with any Switch game. But of course the main focus here is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and right out of the box all of the buttons are programmed and ready for use with that game. You need to make sure you have a solid surface to place the wheel on so it doesn't slide around, but if you can do that then it works pretty well. It's a fun way to play the game, so if you're a Mario Kart fan that wants a new style of play, then this is worth looking into.
