US Marines VMFA-242 F-35B & VMFA-232 F/A-18C Fighters Conduct Close Air Support With US Navy ANGLICO

U.S. Marines with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO), III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group (MIG), conduct simulated close air support with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 242 and VMFA-232 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, May 18, 2021. The training allowed Marines with 5th ANGLICO to become more proficient in the use of the Link 16 network with fixed wing aircraft.
