This video compares the censorship made to The Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon outside of Japan.

This video includes:

The removal of two Theatre attraction - one showing a sexy striptease and the other of Ebisumaru (Dr. Yang) dancing, with the grand finale being them dropping their pants and farting.
The fact that the tanuki, and its gigantic testicles, was left completely uncensored.
Changing the Chain Pipe attaching to maji symbols to star symbols, due to the maji resembling the swastika.
Removing the perverted part of Wise Old Man's personalty, by changing a "bunny girl" poster to a "muscle car" poster and "pichi pichi gal" magazines to "car" magazines.
