All eyes will be on Milan’s San Siro Stadium February 6, 2026 for the Opening Ceremony of @MilanoCortina2026WinterGames attended a press conference with Visit Milano last week to learn more:

🇮🇹 60,000 spectators are expected at Italy’s largest stadium which is also home to the football teams of AC Milan and Inter. ⚽️

🇮🇹 This is the most widespread Winter Games in history and the athlete’s Parade of Nations will not only take place in Milan but in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Predazzo and Livigno.

🇮🇹 Each nation is allotted two flagbearers who can appear in two different venues. Italy, as host, will have four flagbearers, two men and two women.

🇮🇹 The creative concept is Harmony.

🇮🇹 There will be a tribute to the late Italian designer Giorgio Armani.
