Toxic masculinity suddenly has a place when 'barbarians are at the door'

The Ukrainian leadership has told trans women they have to “stay and fight” according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Of course, Ukraine came out and said women and children can leave, they can flee, they can go and seek refugee status,” Ms Panahi said.

“But if you’re a man between 18 and 60 … you stay and fight, you stay and defend your country.

“Suddenly, when the barbarians are at the door, toxic masculinity has a place.

“And those who identify as women but are biologically male, well sorry, you’re staying and fighting according to the Ukrainian leadership.”
