Mitsubishi G4M "Betty" Bomber | The First WW2 Bomber To Sink a Ship
Mitsubishi's G 4M, a faster and more powerful aircraft, symbolized Japanese dominance during World War Two. The Betty bomber, a well-known Japanese bomber, was used in numerous Pacific engagements and was recognized for its aerial kills of capital ships. However, its symbolism deteriorated as the war ended, and it became a mother ship for the piloted kamikaze rocket Yokosuka MXY7 OKA, which was fired to stop the US assault on the Japanese mainland. The plane's symbolism deteriorated as the war came to an end.
