In this series of video's we take a look at how you perform a basic setup and configuration of a Synology, Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. This series of videos was created to try and offer a reference point to assist you in the setup of your own NAS.

Having already installed a copy of Synology's Disk Station Manager (DSM) onto our NAS. In this video, we take a quick tour of the main elements that make up the user interface of the DSM. This is to familiarise ourselves with the location of settings and functions, in preparation for future videos where we begin to configure the NAS.
