What happens if you throw your key fob out the window? // 100 rental cars

This is rental car number 113 and today I'm back in the 2018 Chevy Malibu LT.

I've always been curious what would happen if I drove away in one of my rental cars without the key fob. Yes, the chances of that happening are almost zero, but I'm still curious. So I tried it out.

And I was shocked to find that you can actually drive the car without the key fob in the vehicle. In fact, you can drive away, turn off the car, get out of the vehicle AND IT WILL STILL WORK! Crazy.

Crazy. Well, at least that's how it works on the 2018 Chevy Malibu. It might be different with other cars, I'm not sure.
