A Destroy-the-Dress Photoshoot & Iceland's OLDEST POOL! (Day 4, Pt. 1)

When Cat was first shopping for wedding dresses, one of her priorities was to buy a dress she could wear again... not to events or anything like that, but on adventures. In the couple weeks prior to setting off for Iceland, Bri reached out to our Vanlife Iceland WhatsApp group offering photoshoots to anyone who was interested. It was too good an offer to pass up ;) We rolled Cat's wedding dress up into the top pouch of our backpack and pulled it out for a (very cold) elopement-style photoshoot at 7am at Seljalandsfoss! To this day, these are some of the most treasured pictures we have.

After the photoshoot, we warmed up with Brennivin and lunch, got changed, and set off for Iceland's oldest pool, Seljavallalaug. This pool is fed by a hot spring, so the temperature changes constantly, but it was thankfully fairly warm on the day we visited. This was the first time we really spent quality time with some of our Vanlife Iceland companions--just playing in the pool like kids again :)
