Auriel's Bow Achievement Guide [1080p]

This video explains how to get the Auriel's Bow Achievement. Read the description for more information.

To get this achievement you have to have downloaded the Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim. Once done complete the main questline for Dawnguard and you will receive a bow named "Auriels Bow". When you have that bow you then have the option to get any elven arrows "sunblessed" which does sun damage on an opponent or "bloodcursed" in which you can block out the sun by shooting it. You do not have to have Serana as a follower, just have normal elven arrows in your inventory (up to 20 can be cursed or blessed at a time) and ask her to treat them with her blood. Once you get the bloodcursed elven arrows simply go outside and shoot at the sun. Do you have to be somewhat accurate and not just aim towards the bright light or it may not work. That's it!

The sun will only be blocked out for the remainder of that day. It is NOT a permanent effect. This is useful for vampires so they don't take any negative effects of being outside during daytime. If you are not a vampire then you can just do it cause it looks cool or just to make everything have a red'ish tint.
