VISITING SEPILOK ORANGUTAN REHABILITATION CENTRE & PROBOSCIS MONKEYS (WHY YOU NEED TO VISIT BORNEO)

What's up guys, first of all I want to massively apologise for the 3 month hiatus! I've been massively focusing on taking the time to focus on other projects to make sure that I can keep travelling long into the future (it doesn't pay for itself!)

Anyway, we're back exactly where we left of in Sepilok, in the Sabah region of Borneo. After getting scared in the wild during the last video I wanted to see the main attraction in Sepilok which is the Orangutan sanctuary and the proboscis monkeys.

I know I know, these are tourist traps but since arriving in Borneo I hadn't seen any wildlife and when I decided to fly to Sepilok I had to make sure I didn't miss it!

Looking back on my trip to Borneo I wish I did more and maybe stuck it out there a bit longer. I was staying in some pretty rough accommodation so I kinda wanted to get outta there as quick as possible...as a result I missed out on so much wildlife and exploring. Next time I really want to get off the beaten track and see some wildlife that is actually in the wild lol.

All in all it was an awesome trip and I will definitely be going back again one day in the future!

Btw, I'm writing this as of May 3rd 2020, I filmed this vlog in the early summer of last year (not breaking the current lockdown rules as I am now back in the UK as of March).

I have a huge backlog of vlogs that I will be uploading over the coming days and weeks so keep an eye out for those!
