Metal Detecting Relics: Is That A Civil War Era Fingerprint In The Button?

Please join me on this metal detecting adventure as I search a wooded area for Civil War relics, coins and other treasure. It was a new permission and I didn't have high hopes for it, but I did find a small unhunted Civil War camp and a small handful of coins and relics. While looking at the inside of the New York State Seal button, I see what appears to be a fingerprint left by someone many years ago. Do you think that it is a fingerprint?
