How I upcycled memory slate from a kitchen floor redo – a commissioned painting

This is the second of four commissions, made of slate leftover pieces from a kitchen flooring project (the floor was designed by the mother of the home). After she passed on, her husband wanted the pieces he had saved to be a good memory for him and his family. Now they are his Heirloom Art Pieces.
