💌 List of Best Places to Find Scholarships 💌
Here are the best places I found over the past 6 years in academia to find free money for school:
1️⃣ Your School’s website (uni or high school schoalrhsip page) - these are often manually inputted by your guidance counsellor, you can find some general and unique ones.
2️⃣ Scholarship databases – Websites like ScholarshipsCanada, Yconic, ScholarTree etc. have huge databases. It can be a little hard to find the ones that suits you the most, so I would dedictae 15-30min a day just to sift through them.
3️⃣ Local organizations & businesses – Honestly hands down the best one to find unique. low entry, and less known schoalrhsips. I got a big portion of my undergard scholarships from here.

If you’re a NS high school student, I found 2 really nice ones that not a lot of people know (see part 1 and part 3 of the scholarships videos! Or DM me and I’ll send them to you).
4️⃣ Government grants & bursaries – Applying for loans doesn’t mean you’ll get the loans, but the bursaries and grants often comes with the application if you are going to school within your province.

For example, applying for OSAP, student loans for Ontario only students, opens the doors to many other scholarships and grants you can apply for.

Another example, applying to NS student loans while going to school in NS allows you to access up to $5000 worth of grants each year!
📌The key for schoalrhsips is to
✔️Apply for as many as possible
✔️Tailor your application to the shcoalrhsips (I started planning mine when I was in Grade 11)
✔️ Learn how to pitch yourself and your achievements
