The landfills in Winnipeg Manitoba are crime scenes, and the Winnipeg police refuse to search! Why is that? They hand no problem searching a landfill in Toronto back in 2021 for Nathaniel Brettell for four months and found him. But they won't do that for the Indigenous women of Turtle island! Shame on this corporation called Canada. We know where you stand when it comes to the original people of the land. About this track. The recent refusal to search the Brady Landfill for the remains of Morgan Harris, Mercedes Myran, Rebecca Contois and Buffalo Woman in Winnipeg has inspired me to write this song about the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
