Hydroponic Garden With LCD Back Light
I built this around 2008 out of a cement mixing trough, wood is from an old box spring, some other bits of pipe, and some screen. Growing medium is pea gravel. Pump was bought at a hardware store. I think it was the lowest flow one there. Something like 60 gallons/hours. The light is from a LCD TV that I have in this video. If your not into stirling engines skip to 3:40. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-2sb2KuEcg The light uses about 150 watts witch is a lot but I think it is worth it (at least my dad has not complained about the electric bill yet! :-D)
