Have you ever done Hookie Life weekend in the DMV? This was my second time going and big thanks to Hookie Life for inviting me and hosting me for this weekend of non stop pace between jouvert, 4 fetes and riddim and road - I am tired. Hookie Life weekend consists of 6 events which you can get for one pass through the Hookie Life website. They had live performances from soca artists like Bunji Garlin, Erphaan Alves, Lyrikal and more. It's a great way to celebrate Caribbean Culture in the DMV and a nice thing to do in DC during the Juneteenth holiday weekend.
