WBTB-TV / WTVG / WWHT Channel 68 Audio Clips

Here are a selection of audio clips recorded over-the-air from WBTB-TV / WTVG /
WWHT Channel 68, Newark, NJ during the mid to late 1970s.

Included are WBTB-TV and WWHT sign-ons and station IDs, the original (?) Uncle Floyd Show Theme ("Swinging Down The Lane"), a promo for "Wall Street Perspective" with host Gene Inger, a WTVG ID, and even the Wometco Home Theatre (WHT) theme song.

It was a lot of fun compiling these old recordings. Sadly, we've come a long way from the day when a television station's aim was to offer "The best in community-minded programming".
