Russian Chicken Cutlets | INSTANT POT to cook potatoes and chicken | Mumtaz Hasham

Russian Chicken Cutlets is very crispy outside due to vermicelli coating and moist inside. There are few steps to do this recipe. Once you have your veggies chopped and chicken boiled and shredded the rest is a breeze. I chop my veggies and boil and shred chicken a day before. That way it is easier the next day.

STEP 1 - INGREDIENTS TO BOIL AND SHRED CHICKEN:
1 lb chicken cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
half cup water
I used my electric pressure cooker INSTANT POT to make the above chicken. You can cook on stove top or using regular pressure cooker.

STEP 2 - Boil Potatoes and mash
3 potatoes
2 cups water
Again I used my INSTANT POT to steam my potatoes for 7 mins

STEP 3 - INGREDIENTS
1 cup shredded chicken
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1 cup chopped and blanched green beans
1/4 cup chopped red peppers
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
2 sprigs of green onions chopped
3 potatoes boiled and mashed
handful chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp coarsely crushed cumin seeds
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice

Step 4 - WHITE SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
1 cup milk
1 tbsp corn starch
3 tbsp white flour
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
