Open enrollment deadline looms for nearly 70 million Medicare beneficiaries

This is especially important for the millions of Americans currently enrolled in Medicare -- and who are rapidly approaching the deadline for open enrollment.
You’ve got until Sunday if you’re on Medicare to take advantage of the open enrollment period,” Dr. Mehmet Oz said during an interview with The National News Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat on Tuesday.
Almost 70 million Americans are out there benefitting from Medicare,” he added, calling it a “crown jewel.”
Once a year, Americans need to sign up for it.
“You can save hundreds of thousands of dollars, but you’ve got to go to Medicare.gov -- it’s the official source of all healthcare information around Medicare,” he said.
