I Found Aliens in the Arizona Desert (And Explored Quirky Desert Towns)
Living in my car in the Arizona desert led me to some of the strangest, most unexpected places in the Southwest. From bizarre roadside attractions like “The Thing” (yes… aliens 🛸), to historic ghost towns like Tombstone, and massive copper mines carved into the desert, this trip was pure Arizona.
In this video, I’m continuing my full-time car life journey, exploring the desert while living out of my Subaru Forester. I share what it’s really like living in a car full-time, how I find unique places to stop, and why the desert is one of the best regions for car camping, minimalist living, and solo travel.
If you’re interested in car living, van life alternatives, road trip travel, or discovering hidden history and strange places in the American desert, this one’s for you.

I’ve been living out of my car long-term, traveling solo, and documenting what works, what doesn’t, and the incredible places this lifestyle makes possible. If you’re curious about minimalist living, car camping full-time, or traveling America on your own terms — you’re in the right place.
