Calamity Jane Light Beer "The Beer of Golf"

When I saw Calamity Jane on the shelf I knew I had to buy it, even though it was at Total Wine and a risk that it was out of date. Calamity Jane is a 4.2% abv light beer made for Golf and produced by Fire Maker Brewing Company Located in Atlanta, Georgia. Fire Maker Brewing is a proud partner of the PGA Georgia, PGA Carolina, PGA North Florida, & PGA South Florida. Calamity Jane pours out a relatively clear, yellow with some fine carbonation bubbles and a thin white head. The nose was very crisp with a slight bready note to it. This is definitely a light beer. Calamity Jane had a light body. The flavors were crisp, clean beer flavored beer. There was a tiny bit of malt sweetness to it with just the slightest bit of hop bitterness. This was a well done light lager that I would chose over any macro light beer any day.
