Civil service cuts not a return to austerity - Jacob Rees-Mogg
Jacob Rees-Mogg has said the planned cuts to 90,000 civil service jobs are not a return to austerity.
It has been suggested the savings made through the job losses could be used to help ease the cost of living crisis.
The Minister for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency said there would be a freeze on recruitment and duplication within the service would be addressed to increase efficiency.
