"Thor" or "Tor"? The "th" sound in Scandinavian

The name "Thor" is spelled and pronounced with just a "t" (Tor) in much of Scandinavia today, but in Old Norse the name did have a "th"-sound (an interdental fricative) like in English and Icelandic.
