Primitive Technique to Make a Clay Pot

Natural red clay is abundant in the area around my Hut. I have been using this primitive method to extract the clay and make many useful pottery items such as cups, bowls, pots, plates, grills, torches and candles for over two years. Working with clay is an art in itself and the products that I make really enhance the outdoor survival experience. While there may be many alternative ways to do this and some may be better than what I have done, this method has worked consistently for me to produce usable pieces that rarely crack. Nobody taught me how to do this. I learned through the process of trial and error. After many failed attempts I finally figured out a method that works. However, I am not an expert and I welcome your suggestions so please tell me your ideas to improve my pottery work.
