Trump administration files lawsuit in Georgia over 'illegal absentee votes'
Sky News host Peter Stefanovic says US President Donald Trump is launching a legal contest in the southern state of Georgia on allegations of voter fraud with two per cent of votes to be counted.
"The Trump campaign has already got legal action taking place in Pennsylvania, already got legal action in Wisconsin and Michigan with hopes of a recount, he said.
"Now a lawsuit is taking place in Georgia with a statement coming from the Trump campaign alleging a Republican poll observer witnessed 53 late absentee ballots illegally added to a stack of on-time absentee ballots in Chatham county."
More than 120,000 votes could be recounted in the state.
