Introduction to Loop Quantum Gravity - Lecture 17: Why there is no critical parameter in LQG.

This course was given at the CPT in Marseille in February and March 2018. Lecture 17 discusses several properties of the LQG amplitudes and in particular, the absence of a parameter to be taken to a critical value. This is the core of the relation between background independence and quantum field theory.
