30 Day Review of KaChava - Is it really a superfood?
What is KaChava? KaChava is not a protein shake but a meal-replacement shake made of over 70 plant-based superfoods and nutrients. The ingredients are organic and include brown rice, kale, blueberry, raspberry, and many more.
3 servings of KaChava was going to place me in a caloric deficit at only 720 calories!
To be fair.... KaChava heavily stresses and constantly points you to their many recipes for the shakes. Although, adding a banana and peanut butter isn't going to bring your calories up that much. I will add that I couldn't find anywhere in their marketing where they recommend just three shakes a day. They keep emphasis on a shake being a "meal replacement". So keep that in mind.
I found that a serving for breakfast, lunch, and dinner....along with a sensible meal....worked well for me and that's what I did after the first two weeks of only being on Ka'Chava.
Like any shake....it definitely was convenient and I did like the taste very much. Not overpowered with the flavor notes...yet...after the same two flavors...it can get a little boring. I started adding peanut butter to the chocolate for my dinner and it tasted like drinking one of those "Funny Bone" snack cakes.... so I don't call that bad! You must use a blender for this however you could easily add powered peanut butter when a blender isn't practical.
People also complain about the price....which I didn't have an issue with. I spent $119 for two bags of KaChava.... with the intent on only having 3 servings a day. Do the math.... that's $1.32 per 'meal'.
I'm going to go ahead and buy another month's worth and keep it as a meal replacement when needed but I'm going to go back to making meals.
I'm going to reach out to the company to see if I can do an interview with a spokesperson so please don't forget to like and subscribe because I'd love to get their assessment on what their real intention is with this product. perhaps you have a couple of questions you like me to ask them comment down below.
