How to Make Homemade Dark Fantasy Choco Fills
Ingredients
100 gm Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Chocolate Bar
1 tbsp water
1 Cup all purpose flour (or maida)
1/4 cup butter
1/3 Cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder (if requird more during dough formation)
1 tbsp rice flour (binding agent)
1 egg (binding agent)
1 tbsp milk (optional)
Instructions:
I) For making chocolate balls
Step 1: Chop or break the Cadbury chocolate into small pieces and keep them in a heat resistant bowl. Now take a little water in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer (while bubbling gently).Place the bowl on top of the simmering water making sure that the bottom of the bowl isn’t touching the water.
Step 2: Add 1 tbsp water to the bowl. Stir the chocolate and the water together until melts.
Step 3: After the chocolate completely melts and becomes smooth, take it off the heat and let it cool, then refrigerate for 15 more mins or until they are semi-solid.
Step 4: Make small balls of chocolate and keep aside.
II) For making cookies
Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder & rice flour and mix well.
Step 2: Separately, whisk the egg with butter & powdered sugar until light & fluffy.
Step 3: Add the the flour mixture to the egg mixture and knead into a soft dough.
Step 4: Preheat oven to 190°C for 10 minutes with convection fan and power ON both upper & lower rod.
Step 5: Line a baking tray with a baking paper
Step 6: Divide the dough into small equal parts and press them into thick flat round shape. place the chocolate ball at the centre & make the desire shape you want. Place them on your prepared cookie sheet , keeping at least 2 inches in between.
Step 7: Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 190 degree C
Step 8: Let rest on the sheet for 5 to 10 minutes and then gently transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy it with milk & tea!
Notes
1. You will know your cookies are done when they spread and slightly darken around the edges & the top. They will still seem soft, but will set up as they cool.
2. If your dough seems too stiff, add a tablespoon of milk.
3. These can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 - 5 days.
