How To Set A Bathtub And Install The Drain

It can be intimidating to set a bathtub and install the drain assembly for the first time. In this video I'll go over the steps to do it right, using a brass drain. A PVC drain works in a similar fashion. Getting the tub aligned properly in the rough opening and getting the drain to line up correctly to avoid leaks are the main goals. Getting physical access to the drain and to the p-trap, through the floor or through a wall is perhaps the most important aspect of this job. And, I'll go over some tips to make the job easier.
