How to Make a Train out of Popsicle Sticks / DIY craft for kids / Toy train using ice cream stick

OBJECTIVE OF THIS DIY PROJECT

The objective of making this video is to recreate a toy train using ice-cream stick and creative idea. It was fun making and filming this DIY project.

THINGS NEEDED
• Pop stick or Ice cream stick.
• Quick setting glue and wood glue.
• Thick plastic sheet (Preferred color)
• Basic tools : Cutter, Scissors, Steel rule

PROCEDURE
• Pick an old or new toy train; dismantle the hood to expose the chasses of the toy train.
• As seen in the video initially build the chasses of the toy train and conduct a trial run around the rails.
• If the chasses collide with each other modify the size accordingly.
• Then follow the video to complete building the full body of the train.
• Cut the thick polythene sheet to the appropriate size to fit the window of the toy train.
• Without wasting use trimmed out edges of the pop stick/ice cream stick to make a small quite chair and install the same as seen in the video.
• Put some silver color shining stickers on the wheels of the toy train to make them look flashy while they are on the move on the rails.
• To complete the fun DIY project make a small Toy Train Stopping station to make it look more realistic.
• Hope you and your kids would enjoy the making of the recreated toy train and playing with it.
