Rebuilding OEM quality Wide Streams with TEROSON MS 9320 SF

See how you can use seam sealing system together with TEROSON MS 9320 SF to rebuild OEM wide streams for rear panel. Wide Seams are mainly used to seal, rebuild OEM structure and original appearance, mainly used to rebuild seams of the suspension strut dome, back and side panel, or trunk.

TEROSON® MS 9320 SF is a black, grey, or ochre, solvent- and isocyanate-free silane modified polymer for the reproduction of
flat- and wide-stream seams equal to OEM texture. Skin formation time is 10 to 20 min. Best application results are achieved with the TEROSON® ET DISPENSER POWERLINE II. Surface preparation with TEROSON® VR 10 recommended.

0:10 Preparing the surface
Bonding surfaces must be cleaned from oil, grease, dust and any other contaminations. Clean the bonding surfaces with cleaner TEROSON® VR 10 using a lint-free cloth. In case of cleaning, it's important to move the cloth always into the same direction to avoid spreading the dirt back to the surface.
0:35 Preparing the cartridge
Pre-heat the product with a side-by-side oven TEROSON ET CR HEATINGBOX 2PC to 60 °C for the wide stream seam. Before you put the cartridge in the side-by-side oven, open the bottom with the cartridge opener TEROSON® ET CR OPENER. To open the cartridge, use the cartridge opener. The cartridge must be opened at the top. Screw the flat stream nozzle onto the pre-heated cartridge. Insert cartridge into the TEROSON Powerline II and screw on black screw collar.
Adjusting screws:
Blue adjusting screw = air pressure.

For wide streams, use the nozzle: TEROSON® WIDESTREAM NOZZLE
1:01 Applying the adhesive
Use these distance to substrate to achieve the best results: 18-20 bar silver nozzle wide seam (insulation, acoustic panels in doors, trunk floor, etc) approx.10-15cm distance to substrate. Tape should be applied at the beginning and end.
1:11 Painting
After skin formation has been reached (approx. 10-20 min), the seamed parts can be painted.
