Back when Overwatch came out, hitscan heroes were the backbone of the game.

The plays were exciting, the heroes were flashy and the pros who mained them got to show their incredible skills off to the world. The meta gave us big names and big personalities, like Overwatch legend Big Boss Pine.

But a massive shift in the meta put Pine and the rest of the hitscan aim gods out of a job. Overwatch lost its hype, lost its aim and lost its stars.

Bad balance killed Overwatch's aim gods, and it may be too late to bring them back.
