This is the last episode of my Iraq travel series and In this vlog, I explore Mosul, Iraq - a city that just a few years ago was the capital of the ISIS caliphate.

I had not heard much about Mosul before my trip to Iraq. But as I made my way up to Iraqi Kurdistan, I started hearing stories about war and how it had affected the city of Mosul.

It was about an hour and a half from the city of Erbil, so I decided to go. At first, I felt scared to go because I thought it might be unsafe but I was too interested in learning how this city had gone through such a difficult time and how they had recovered from it.

I had an incredible time thanks to Harith and especially all the locals that made me understand everything to such depths. I am in deep gratitude about the experience I had and how a lot of people were so open to talk about it and bring this sensitive topic to light. Mosul is forever in my heart.
