Let's Talk Hammers - Knife Guard Fit and Form.

In this episode of in the works Matt files the guard for his mosaic damascus knife until it fits the tang. He then forged the S shape into the guard using a torch. After that Matt shows how he uses the slack belt sander to polish out trick shaped parts and also shows how to use copper jaws in the vice to avoid scratches on your blade.

Meanwhile Ilya continues to forge hammers. He later heat treats the hammers and sands a handle to shape.
