This Plane Ran Out of Fuel Over the Ocean 🌊✈️

In 1996, three hijackers took control of an Ethiopian Airlines flight and demanded the pilot fly them to Australia. The pilot explained clearly and repeatedly that the aircraft did not have enough fuel to make the journey. The hijackers did not care. They insisted. The plane kept flying. And then the engines went silent. One by one, both engines shut down mid-air over the Indian Ocean — exactly as the pilot had warned they would. With no power and no options, the pilot attempted something almost impossible — ditching the aircraft onto the surface of the ocean to save as many lives as he could. The plane struck the water at an angle. The impact broke it apart instantly. 125 people lost their lives.
