Alto Restoration Part 18 - We crash our disk drive. Mill to the rescue!

While archiving the original Xerox PARC cartridges, we occasionally crash our drives heads. Usually, these are minor crashes, caused by disk defects (previous crashes mostly) or simply by picking up some old flaking magnetic oxide on the heads. Just cleaning the heads and the disk will allow to recover. But at the last session, both our main and backup drives crashed hard on particularly difficult media. We don't dare putting any other disk in them until we to take the heads out for inspection, repair or replacement. Which means we have to do a dreaded drive realignment afterwards. Fortunately, we have an alignment cartridge from Bruce Damer's Digibarn, a necessary item for the procedure. We think they are in good condition, and will enable us to repair our drives. But are they really?
(Video itself says part 17, but since I made the Alto demo part 17, this is really part 18).
