Study Reveals Shared Genetic Markers for Substance Use Disorders

In a recent study, researchers used genome-wide analyses to pinpoint genetic variations associated with addiction and substance use risks. Combing through genomic data from more than 1 million people, scientists found a specific genetic pattern linked with broad addiction risk.
